Is the allee effect relevant to stochastic cancer model?

Mrinmoy Sardar et al.

Summary: This paper presents a stochastic differential equation system to describe the evolution of a tumor cell population with Allee effect, encapsulating uncertainty using a parametric perturbation method. The existence, uniqueness, stability, and dynamical bifurcation point Theta of the solutions are discussed with the aid of constructing Lyapunov function. Numerical results using a first-order Ito-Wiener stochastic scheme are presented to showcase the theoretical analysis.

The Study of a Predator-Prey Model with Fear Effect Based on State-Dependent Harvesting Strategy

Y. Tian et al.

Summary: This study examines the impact of the cost of fear on the behavior and reproduction of prey population in a predator-prey fishery model. It also investigates the effects of harvesting on the dynamics of the system. Numerical simulations are used to illustrate the different effects of different harvest levels and fear levels.

Concept and solution of digital twin based on a Stieltjes differential equation

Ivan Area et al.

Summary: This paper introduces the concept of a digital twin using Stieltjes differential equations and presents a precise mathematical definition of the solution to the problem. The existence and uniqueness of solutions are also analyzed and the concept of the main digital twin is introduced. Using the classical SIR epidemic model as an example, the interrelation between the digital twin and the system is studied, and Stieltjes derivatives are used to feed real system data to the virtual model, improving it in real time. Numerical simulations with real COVID-19 epidemic data demonstrate the accuracy of the proposed ideas.

Bifurcation dynamics of a reaction-diffusion predator-prey model with fear effect in a predator-poisoned environment

Haokun Qi et al.

Summary: This paper proposes a reaction-diffusion predator-prey model with fear effect under a predator-poisoned environment and analyzes its stability and bifurcation behavior. The study finds that the proper diffusion rate is beneficial for the survival of populations and changes in diffusion rates can cause steady state bifurcations. The validity of the theoretical analysis is verified through numerical simulations.

A Delayed Eco-Epidemiological Model with Weak Allee Effect and Disease in Prey

Kankan Sarkar et al.

Summary: In this paper, a mathematical model for an eco-epidemiological system with a disease in prey population is proposed and analyzed. The effects of incubation time delay and weak Allee effect on the predator population growth are emphasized. The stability and properties of the model, including positivity and boundedness are investigated. The simulation and analysis show the occurrence of Hopf bifurcation and the existence of high-periodic oscillations in disease transmission.

On a diffusive predator-prey model with nonlocal fear effect

Xinshan Dong et al.

Summary: The study investigates a diffusive predator-prey model incorporating the nonlocal fear effect, analyzing the stability of constant equilibria using the characteristic equation and Lyapunov functionals. Steady-state bifurcation analyses are conducted in detail using the Lyapunov-Schmidt procedure. The research finds that the nonlocal term can maintain global stability under certain conditions and suggests the possibility of two coexisting stable nonconstant steady states with the introduction of a kernel function.

A fractional-order model of COVID-19 considering the fear effect of the media and social networks on the community

Fatma Bozkurt et al.

Summary: Research on the highly transmittable Covid-19 virus has focused on infection and transmission risks using mathematical models. In addition to its transmission impact, there is also a discussion on the fear effect in the community. Analysis of the local stability of critical points suggests the need to control the spread of information or fear in the community to mitigate virus transmission.

Dynamics of a Predator-Prey Population in the Presence of Resource Subsidy under the Influence of Nonlinear Prey Refuge and Fear Effect

Sudeshna Mondal et al.

Summary: The study investigates a non-Kolmogorov predator-prey-subsidy model with nonlinear prey refuge and the effect of fear, focusing on the feasibility and stability of equilibrium points, local bifurcations, and the impact of time lag on the dynamical behavior of the system. Numerical computations validate analytical findings, showing that predator, prey, and subsidy can coexist at a nonzero subsidy input rate, but high subsidy input rate leads to prey population decline and significant growth in predator population.
