Effects of Kraft Lignin and Corn Residue on the Production of Eucalyptus Pellets

Summary: The study evaluated the effect of adding different proportions of Kraft lignin on the quality of lignocellulosic residue pellets. The results showed that the addition of Kraft lignin improved the physical and mechanical properties of the pellets, and mixing eucalyptus with corn residue optimized the properties of biomass solid fuel. Higher proportions of corn residue contributed to improved mechanical properties, while lower proportions of corn residue improved the physical and mechanical quality of the pellets.
