Highly sensitive detection of anti-cancer drug based on bimetallic reduced graphene oxide nanocomposite

Bathinapatla Sravani et al.

Summary: A high-performance electrochemical sensor for regorafenib detection was developed using bimetallic Pd-Ru nanoparticles anchored on reduced graphene oxide derived from pomegranate peel extract. The sensor exhibited good electrocatalytic activity and detection range, as well as excellent selectivity and sensitivity in real sample analysis. This strategy could be applied for the development of electrochemical sensors for other target analytes.

Recent advances in analytical strategies and microsystems for food allergen detection

Jae Hwan Shin et al.

Summary: Food allergies are abnormal immune responses that occur shortly after exposure to allergenic proteins in food. Treating food allergies is not well understood, so the main prevention method is avoidance. Recent advances in biosensors for on-site detection of food allergens with high selectivity and sensitivity have been explored, along with considerations for quantifying food allergens and global development trends.

An ultra-sensitive rifampicin electrochemical sensor based on titanium nanoparticles (TiO2) anchored reduced graphene oxide modified glassy carbon electrode

Y. Veera Manohara Reddy et al.

Summary: The TiO2 nanoparticles anchored graphene oxide sheets were successfully prepared and showed excellent detection performance towards the antituberculosis drug Rifampicin. The TiO2/rGO/GCE electrochemical sensing platform exhibited a wide linear range and a low detection limit, indicating high sensitivity and potential for clinical and pharmaceutical applications.

Structural studies and bioactivity of sodium alginate edible films fabricated through ferulic acid crosslinking mechanism

Babu Bhagath Yerramathi et al.

Summary: The study focused on the fabrication and characterization of sodium alginate edible films crosslinked with ferulic acid, showing transparent, homogeneous, stable, and rigid characteristics. These films demonstrated good tensile strength and antioxidant activity, but did not exhibit inhibition against common food spoiling bacteria.
