Microbial Synthesized Ag/AgCl Nanoparticles Using Staphylococcus pasteuri sp. nov., ZAR1: Antimutagenicity, Antimicrobial Agent

Summary: This study investigated the microbial synthesis of Ag/AgCl nanoparticles and their effects on mutagenicity, antimutagenicity, and antibacterial properties. The results showed that the nanoparticles had high antimicrobial activity against pathogenic bacteria, especially when stabilized using sodium alginate. Ames test revealed that Ag NPs did not display a mutagenic effect and were actually found to be antimutagenic, with a mutagenicity inhibition rate of approximately 97-99%.
