Photoelectrochemical, photocatalytic and electrochemical hydrogen peroxide production using Fe/S-codoped TiO2 nanotubes as new visible-light-absorbing photocatalysts

Summary: Codoping of TiO2 nanotubes with iron and sulfur significantly enhanced the photocatalytic and photoelectrocatalytic production of hydrogen peroxide in the absence of organic scavengers. Fe/S-codoped TiO2 nanotubes showed a maximum photocurrent density and increased H2O2 production compared to undoped nanotubes. Introducing a bias potential and light irradiation reduced electron-hole pair recombination, leading to higher H2O2 generation in photoelectrocatalytic process.

Influence of calcination temperature on photocatalytic H2O2 productivity of hierarchical porous ZnO microspheres

Summary: In this study, flower-like hierarchical ZnO microspheres were prepared by hydrothermal method followed by calcination at different temperatures, and their performance in H2O2 production was examined under simulated sunlight irradiation. The ZnO calcined at 300 degrees C exhibited the highest activity and optimal stability. Additionally, cycling experiments indicated good stability and long-term performance of the prepared ZnO samples.
