Effect of pH on Rhodomonas salina growth, biochemical composition, and taste, produced in semi-large scale under sunlight conditions

The results showed that R. salina had higher productivity at pH 7, while biomass produced at pH 8.5 had higher protein and total fatty acid concentrations. The pH also affected the taste of R. salina, with biomass produced at pH 7 having a more umami flavor.
