Photocatalytic Destruction of Gaseous Benzene Using Mn/I-Doped TiO2 Nanoparticle Catalytic Under Visible Light

Yue Sun et al.

Summary: In this study, Mn/I-TiO2 nanocatalyst was prepared and used to effectively decompose gaseous benzene. The crystal phase of the catalyst was identified as anatase, and doping with Mn/I could reduce crystal size and increase lattice distortion to enhance the generation rate of electron-hole pairs. Among the catalysts, Mn-TiO2 exhibited the highest efficiency in removing benzene under visible light.
