Temperature Modulating Fermi Level Pinning in 2D GeSe for High-Performance Transistor

Zahir Muhammad et al.

Summary: This article investigates the vibrational and electronic properties of GeSe material and fabricates a high-performance field-effect transistor. It is found that the vibrational modes of GeSe show linear softening as the temperature increases, with the presence of anharmonic phonon-phonon/electron coupling. Additionally, the angle-resolved photoemission spectroscopy experiment reveals that the Fermi level of GeSe moves towards the valance band with increasing temperature, indicating a higher carrier concentration. The fabricated GeSe FET device exhibits high carrier mobility and a high on/off ratio at room temperature, showing potential for nanoelectronic and thermoelectric devices.

Pressure-Driven Phase Transitions in Bulk HfS2

M. Grzeszczyk et al.

Summary: The effects of hydrostatic pressure on Raman scattering in bulk HfS2 were investigated. Two transformations of the Raman scattering spectra were observed under specific pressures, indicating a structural change in the material. The lineshape of the Raman spectra became more irregular with increasing pressure, resembling that of disordered materials. These changes were found to be irreversible during decompression.

Graphene/SnS2 van der Waals Photodetector with High Photoresponsivity and High Photodetectivity for Broadband 365-2240 nm Detection

Yue Zhao et al.

Summary: The research systematically investigates the fabrication and photoelectrical properties of graphene/SnS2 van der Waals photodetectors. The experimental results show that the heterostructure has a broadband sensing range and improved responsivities, and positive and negative photoconductance effects can be observed. Furthermore, through quantitative simulation, it is demonstrated that the barrier height and width of the heterostructure photodetector can be controlled by external factors, providing a potential way to tune the separation and transport of photogenerated carriers.
