A new species of Plectrocnemia (Trichoptera: Polycentropodidae) from Rovno amber

Summary: A new caddisfly species, Plectrocnemia kirmikhia sp. nov., has been described from Priabonian Rovno amber. This locality now contains 16 named species within the family Polycentropodidae, with the genus Plectrocnemia contributing 5 described species.

The polycentropodid genus Cernotina (Insecta, Trichoptera) in Miocene Dominican amber

Summary: A new polycentropodid caddisfly species was described from Miocene Dominican amber, adding to the two existing species in the same family found in the amber. The endemic species in Hispaniola today is similar to the two fossil species. In total, there are six extant species of the genus Cernotina registered on the Caribbean islands.

Summary: This supplement provides a list of taxa described or recorded in 2020, as well as some earlier records missed in the Burmese amber checklist and bibliography. A total of 1859 species have been recorded from Kachin amber, with 362 named in 2020, the highest number named in one year from any amber source. Additionally, two species were named from older Hkamti amber.
