Poisson's Ratio and Modulus of Gyroid Lattices

Summary: Gyroid surface lattices of different densities show Young's modulus behavior approaching the Hashin-Shtrikman upper bound dominated by stretching, with a consistent Poisson's ratio of 0.34 +/- 0.06 regardless of direction, specimen diameter, and chirality. This is in contrast with prior chiral lattices that exhibited size effects in Poisson's ratio.
