Trait-specific testing of the equal environment assumption: The case of school grades and upper secondary school attendance

Bastian Moenkediek

Summary: This paper examines the equal environment assumption for school grades and upper secondary school attendance using data from the German TwinLife study. The study illustrated two approaches to test the assumption, with results showing that violations were detected in one case but did not affect heritability estimates.
