A fuzzy multi-criteria framework to identify barriers and enablers of the next-generation vaccine supply chain

Dheeraj Chandra et al.

Summary: This study investigates the critical factors for improving the performance of the existing vaccine supply chain (VSC) in India by implementing the next-generation vaccine supply chain (NGVSC). The findings suggest that demand forecasting is the topmost supply chain barrier and sustainable financing is the most important enabler for the implementation of NGVSC.

Evaluating the effect of key performance indicators of vaccine supply chain on sustainable development of mission indradhanush: A structural equation modeling approach *

Dheeraj Chandra et al.

Summary: This study evaluated the sustainable development of the Indian health mission Indradhanush by assessing performance indicators and sustainability practices criteria. The results indicated that the learning and growth, as well as internal process, performance indicators of the supply chain have a significant impact on the success of Mission Indradhanush. Internal process was found to mediate the relationship between learning and growth and sustainable performance, and is identified as the main dimension of the supply chain towards sustainability.

The Impact of the COVID-19 Pandemic on Immunization Campaigns and Programs: A Systematic Review

Zohra S. Lassi et al.

Summary: The COVID-19 pandemic has negatively impacted health service delivery, specifically immunization programs, resulting in a reduction in vaccine coverage and children missing out on vaccinations. Contributing factors to low vaccine coverage include fear of virus exposure at healthcare facilities, city-wide movement restrictions, worker shortages, and resource diversion to address the pandemic. It is crucial to establish high-quality supplementary immunization activities and catch-up programs to address gaps during and after the pandemic.

Identification of practices that facilitate manufacturing companies' environmental collaboration and their influence on sustainable production

Mariana Trujillo-Gallego et al.

Summary: Green Supply Chain Management (GSCM) is a viable option for manufacturing companies to address environmental pressures through environmental collaboration, with practices like internal environmental management, eco-design, and green marketing showing positive effects on such collaboration. However, green human resources, green information and systems technology, and reverse logistics do not directly influence environmental collaboration. The positive impact of environmental collaboration on sustainable production practices like green purchasing, green manufacturing, and green distribution is evident.
