Summary: The aim of evaluating forensic evidence is to provide a transparent, coherent, and unbiased opinion on its value to fact-finders. This study demonstrates how likelihood ratio calculations can be used to differentiate glass samples based on their manufacturing history. By comparing the chemical properties of glass, it is possible to correlate chemical relatedness to manufacturing history.
