Wearable Piezoelectric Nanogenerators Based on Core-Shell Ga-PZT@Ga-Ox Nanorod-Enabled P(VDF-TrFE) Composites

Shi Zeng et al.

Summary: This study synthesized unique core-shell structured Ga-PbZrxTi1-xO3 (PZT)@GaOx nanorods, which were used as fillers in a matrix to obtain highly efficient PENGs. The decoration of gallium nanoparticles amplified the local electric field and facilitated the increment of polar beta-phase fraction in P(VDF-TrFE), resulting in improved performance. The interfacial interactions between GaOx and P(VDF-TrFE) also contributed to the enhancement of PENG performance.

BaTiO3@PVDF-TrFE nanocomposites with efficient orientation prepared via phase separation nano-coating method for piezoelectric performance improvement and application to 3D-PENG

Yujang Cho et al.

Summary: Piezoelectric organic-inorganic hybrid nanocomposites combine the high piezoelectricity of piezoelectric ceramics with the dielectric properties and flexibility of polymers. Coating BaTiO3 particles with a polymer layer using phase separation nano-coating method allows for effective orientation and interaction with PVDF-TrFE polymer chain. The resulting hybrid nanocomposite film shows enhanced efficiency characteristics and output voltage compared to pure polymer or ceramic films.

Fabrication and Transformation of K0.5Na0.5Nb0.9Sb0.1O3 Nanostructures to Nanofibers in PVDF-HFP Matrix for Flexible Nanogenerator-Based Thermal Management in Heat Pipes

Kammari Suresh Chary et al.

Summary: A new approach of processing antimony-doped potassium sodium niobate nanostructures for fabricating KNNSb/PVDF-HFP composite nanofibers was investigated. The composite nanofibers exhibited improved piezoelectric properties and dielectric constant compared to pure PVDF-HFP nanofibers. The flexible nanogenerator based on these composite nanofibers showed promising performance when subjected to mechanical pressure, and feasibility for thermal management was also demonstrated.
