Spinal intradural arachnoid cyst as a complication of insertion of an interspinous device

Summary: Spinal intradural arachnoid cysts (SACs) are a type of arachnoid cysts, accounting for approximately 10% of the total cases, and iatrogenic formation is rare. A 50-year-old male presented with symptoms of low back pain and radiating pain in his right leg. Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) revealed multiple intradural cystic tumors in the lumbar region. The patient underwent surgical removal of the interspinous device and resection of the cystic tumors.
