Metal-organic framework-based materials for flexible supercapacitor application

Graphene paper with electrodeposited NiCo2S4 nanoparticles as a novel flexible sensor for simultaneous detection of folic acid and ascorbic acid

Summary: In this study, NiCo2S4/rGO paper electrode was prepared by electrodeposition and reduction of graphene oxide. The results showed that the freestanding paper electrode exhibited high sensitivity, a wide linear range, and a low detection limit for the simultaneous detection of folic acid and ascorbic acid. The study demonstrated the potential of electrodeposition of bimetallic sulfides on freestanding graphene paper substrates for developing high-performance flexible electrochemical sensors.

Summary: Disposable electrochemical paper-based analytical devices were developed to quantify vitamins B-2 and B-6 in commercial dietary supplements. The devices showed enhanced sensitivity due to the addition of magnetite nanoparticles in the conductive ink. The results obtained from the devices were comparable to those from fluorescence spectrometry in terms of precision and accuracy.

Kinetic and Chemical Affinity Quantum Sieving Effects of ZIF-67 for H2 and D2 and Gas Chromatographic Separation of Hydrogen Isotopes on Columns Packed with ZIF-67@NH2-γ-Al2O3

Summary: ZIF-67 exhibits chemical affinity and kinetic quantum sieving effects, effectively realizing the separation of hydrogen isotopes. In contrast, ZIF-8, which is isostructural to ZIF-67, shows no difference in adsorption capacity or heat between H-2 and D-2, highlighting the importance of incompletely filled d-orbitals (Co2+ versus Zn2+). The composite ZIF-67@NH2-γ-Al2O3 synthesized by layer-by-layer method was proven to have excellent separation performance for H-2 and D-2 under optimal chromatographic conditions, with a resolution of 1.79 and a separation time of 5.55 minutes at 77 K.
