Effects of glyphosate on soil fungal communities: A field study

Summary: The study explores the impact of glyphosate on soil fungal communities in semiarid grasslands, revealing a negative effect on fungal biomass at high doses, a temporary stimulatory effect at early stages, and a negative impact on the species richness of cultivable fungi. The molecular structure of soil fungal communities also changes after long-term glyphosate application.
