A Theory for Anisotropic Magnetoresistance in Materials with Two Vector Order Parameters

X. R. Wang

Summary: This study presents a general theory of galvanomagnetic effects in magnetic materials with two vector order parameters and demonstrates the universal angular dependence of anisotropic magnetoresistance (AMR) and planar Hall resistance (PHR). Unlike simple magnetic polycrystalline materials, materials with two vector order parameters have different magnitudes and phase differences for AMR and PHR.

Temperature and thickness dependent magnetization reversal in 2D layered ferromagnetic material Fe3GeTe2

Jun-jie Guo et al.

Summary: The study investigates the magnetization reversal of 2D layered material Fe3GeTe2 and finds that the reversal process is temperature and thickness dependent. The competition between long-range magnetic dipolar interaction and perpendicular magnetic anisotropy affects the magnetization reversal process. The results provide important reference for designing Fe3GeTe2-based spintronic devices.
