Imperfect bifurcation in the rotation of a propeller-shaped camphor rotor

Yuki Koyano et al.

Summary: The study investigated the bifurcation structure on the self-propelled motion of a camphor rotor at a water surface. The asymmetric angular velocities in clockwise and counterclockwise directions imply an imperfect bifurcation. Numerical simulation results were used to analyze the conditions for the occurrence of this imperfect bifurcation.
