Summary: The fiber Fabry-Perot humidity sensor fabricated using polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) and a single-mode optical fiber showed good repeatability and consistency, with a highly linear response to humidity. The sensor exhibited high response speed and short response time in dynamic tests.
