Prevalence and incidence of hepatitis C virus infection in men who have sex with men: a systematic review and meta-analysis

Summary: A global systematic review and meta-analysis showed that the prevalence of HCV among men who have sex with men is high, with the highest rates in Africa and Southeast Asia. HIV-positive MSM have a significantly higher HCV prevalence compared to HIV-negative MSM, and the burden of HCV varies considerably by region.
