Calcined clay - Limestone cements: Hydration processes with high and low-grade kaolinite clays

Guillemette Cardinaud et al.

Summary: The study focused on the difference in hydration degree and products between various binders containing calcined clay and limestone filler. It found significant pozzolanic activity and synergy between calcined clay and limestone filler in ternary binders, even with a composite calcined clay with minor metakaolinite content. The research suggests that calcined clay with low metakaolin content can achieve similar hydration degree and products as high metakaolin calcined clay in a ternary system.

Experimental research on gypsum-based mixtures containing recycled roofing tile powder at ambient and high temperatures

Muhammed Yasin Durgun

Summary: The study found that adding recycled tile powder to gypsum-based pastes and mortars reduces the strength of the mixtures but enhances mass loss, thermal conductivity, and high temperature resistance. Additionally, the presence of recycled tile powder significantly reduces volume changes resulting from high temperatures.
