Characterization of glucosinolates in 80 broccoli genotypes and different organs using UHPLC-Triple-TOF-MS method

Zhansheng Li et al.

Summary: In this study, glucosinolate compounds and contents in broccoli were characterized and quantified using UHPLC-Triple-TOF-MS. A total of 80 genotypes and eight developmental organs were analyzed, revealing significant variations in glucosinolate content among different organs, with roots containing the highest amount of glucosinolates.

Genome-wide association analysis identified molecular markers associated with important tea flavor-related metabolites

Kaixing Fang et al.

Summary: Through a genome-wide association analysis, multiple SNPs related to the levels of theanine, caffeine, and catechins in tea were identified, providing a foundation for future research on important flavor-related metabolites. Functional annotation revealed key genes and pathways associated with the synthesis of catechins, potentially accelerating the breeding of new tea varieties.
