Impact of Logistics Development on Economic Growth: An Empirical Research from Guangdong Province in China

Summary: This study evaluates the impact of the logistics industry development on economic growth using panel data from 21 cities in Guangdong Province, China from 2007 to 2019. The results show that the development of the logistics industry can improve local economic growth and promote economic growth in surrounding regions.

Evaluation of marine ranching resources and environmental carrying capacity from the pressure-and-support perspective: A case study of Yantai

Summary: The pressure on marine ranching resources and environment is increasing due to large-scale construction and rapid development. An evaluation index system for marine ranching RECC was constructed and applied to analyze 11 marine ranching enterprises in Yantai, China. Results show that the overall RECC of these enterprises is in a severe state, with national marine ranching enterprises performing better than provincial ones on average. Most marine ranching enterprises in Yantai have relatively low pressure and support levels, with certain obstacle indexes limiting their RECC levels.
