Sudden death and revival of Gaussian Einstein-Podolsky-Rosen steering in noisy channels

Summary: It is found that noise in quantum channels can lead to sudden death of Gaussian EPR steering, but it can be revived by establishing a correlated noisy channel. The sudden death and revival of Gaussian EPR steering are directional, and the EPR steering criteria proposed by Reid and I. Kogias et al. are equivalent in this case. The results pave the way for asymmetric quantum information processing utilizing Gaussian EPR steering in a noisy environment.
