Dynamic susceptibility spectra of stadium-shaped and elliptical nanostructures

E. Saavedra et al.

Summary: The dynamic susceptibility in stadium-shaped and elliptical nanostructures depends on the minimum energy configuration, which is influenced by the aspect ratio of the system. If the nanostructure's lowest energy state is a vortex, the dynamic susceptibility remains relatively constant. Controlling frequencies by modifying the geometric parameters of the system suggests the potential use of these nanostructures in magnetic controllable frequency devices.

The Bloch point 3D topological charge induced by the magnetostatic interaction

F. Tejo et al.

Summary: A Bloch point, a point-like 3D magnetization configuration in a ferromagnet, has been calculated for its 3D topological charge. The calculation revealed a finite, non-integer value due to the magnetostatic energy contribution, forming a new class called hopfions-3D topological magnetization configurations. The non-zero gyrovector of the Bloch point leads to important dynamical consequences such as the emergence of the topological Hall effect.

Narrow Segment Driven Multistep Magnetization Reversal Process in Sharp Diameter Modulated Fe67Co33 Nanowires

Javier Garcia et al.

Summary: Magnetic nanomaterials are being explored for various applications, with the modulation of nanostructures showing potential for affecting magnetization reversal dynamics. In the case of diameter modulated Fe67Co33 nanowires, the magnetization reversal process is observed to occur in two distinct steps. This behavior is attributed to micromagnetic modeling, where the wide segment of the nanowire reverses magnetization first, followed by the core and narrow segment simultaneously.

Dynamic susceptibility of permalloy wire-tube nanostructures

E. Saavedra et al.

Summary: In this study, spin-wave modes in cylindrical nanostructures with wire-tube morphology were theoretically explored and analyzed through micromagnetic simulations. Up to 5 resonance modes were identified, with their existence and position dependent on the geometric parameters of the nanostructure. While some modes remained invariant in position as the size of the tube segment hole changed, others showed frequency variations, even resulting in crossovers between them. The number and amplitude of the spin-wave modes were found to have a complex dependence on the geometry of the system, making the wire-tube nanostructure a promising component for potential magnonic devices.
