Metformin-Loaded Polymer-Based Microbubbles/Nanoparticles Generated for the Treatment of Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus

Drug delivery systems using microbubbles and nanoparticles have shown potential for controlled drug release and improved treatment effectiveness. Bio-mass derived functionalized graphene aerogel: a sustainable approach for the removal of multiple organic dyes and their mixtures

Summary: The fabrication of a functionalized graphene aerogel from a biomass-derived graphene aerogel is described in this study. The functionalization significantly improves the adsorption capacity, especially for dye removal. Comparative analysis shows that the adsorption capacity of the functionalized graphene aerogel towards different dyes has been greatly enhanced, and it maintains good recyclability.

Summary: The study focuses on utilizing OCNPs extracted from pollutant soot in diesel engine exhaust to develop conductive networks in a PLA matrix for the design of QRS sensors in the field of structural health monitoring of biocomposites. The prepared QRS sensors exhibit large-amplitude signals and a high gauge factor, with reproducible piezo-resistive behavior. The waste-derived OCNPs also demonstrate interesting ferromagnetic properties at room temperature.
