Strange Quark Stars in 4D Einstein-Gauss-Bonnet Gravity

Ayan Banerjee et al.

Summary: This study investigates the construction of strange stars in quark matter phases and quantifies the mass-radius diagram for static strange star models using two types of equations of state. The numerical calculation of the modified Tolman-Oppenheimer-Volkoff equations is performed in the context of 4D Einstein-Gauss-Bonnet gravity, where the GB term plays a significant role in gravitational dynamics.

Radial oscillations and stability of compact stars in f (R, T) = R+2βT gravity

Juan M. Z. Pretel et al.

Summary: In this study, the static structure configurations and radial stability of compact stars were examined within the context of f(R, T) gravity. The mass-radius relations and radial mode frequencies were obtained for some realistic equations of state. The results showed that the traditional stellar stability criteria still hold in this theory of gravity.

Quark stars in the Einstein-Gauss-Bonnet theory: A new branch of stellar configurations

Takol Tangphati et al.

Summary: Observations of pulsars heavier than 2 solar masses have constrained the equation of state above nuclear saturation density. The internal structure of a neutron star, correlated with the equation of state, is an active area of investigation. The properties and stability of quark stars with a well-motivated quantum chromodynamics equation of state depend on the Gauss-Bonnet coupling strength.

Anisotropic quark stars in Einstein-Gauss-Bonnet theory

Takol Tangphati et al.

Summary: Recent progress in determining the masses and radii of neutron stars has led to strong constraints on the equation of state (EoS) above nuclear saturation density. A proposed anisotropic star model within Einstein-Gauss-Bonnet gravity theory suggests the possibility of obtaining maximal neutron star mass and supports the existence of other massive pulsars with common radii. The study also discusses the mass vs central mass density relation and stability characteristics in this gravity theory.

Quark Stars in 4D Einstein-Gauss-Bonnet Gravity with an Interacting Quark Equation of State

Ayan Banerjee et al.

Summary: The detection of gravitational waves from a binary neutron star has opened up new possibilities in gravitational wave astronomy, offering insights into the structure and evolution of neutron stars. The study of pulsars and their mass-radius relations provides important constraints on dense matter equations. Researchers have proposed an analysis method based on specific theories for strange quark stars, finding that certain correction parameters play a significant role in the mass-radius relation and stability of quark stars.
