C1QTNF6 regulates cell proliferation and apoptosis of NSCLC in vitro and in vivo

Wei Zhang et al.

Summary: The study revealed that C1QTNF6 promoted proliferation, migration, invasion, and inhibited apoptosis of NSCLC cells. Inhibition of C1QTNF6 attenuated tumor growth in vivo, providing new insights for understanding and treating NSCLC.

C1QTNF6 promotes oral squamous cell carcinoma by enhancing proliferation and inhibiting apoptosis

Xiaobin Song et al.

Summary: C1QTNF6, a member of the CTRP family, has been implicated in promoting tumorigenesis of various cancer types. Knockdown of C1QTNF6 in oral squamous cell carcinoma (OSCC) cell lines resulted in decreased cellular proliferation, cell cycle arrest, enhanced cell apoptosis, and inhibited tumor growth in vivo. Microarray analysis revealed activation of the Acute Phase Response signaling pathway following C1QTNF6 silencing, suggesting C1QTNF6 as a potential therapeutic target for OSCC treatment.

Cancer-secreted exosomal miR-1468-5p promotes tumor immune escape via the immunosuppressive of vessels

Chenfei Zhou et al.

Summary: The study suggests that miR-1468-5p in cervical cancer exosomes promotes lymphatic PD-L1 upregulation and lymphangiogenesis, leading to T cell immunity suppression and allowing cancer cells to evade anti-cancer immunity. High levels of exosomal miR-1468-5p in serum correlate with immunosuppressive status in the tumor microenvironment and poor prognosis in cervical cancer patients.
