Fast and Accurate Deep Learning Framework for Secure Fault Diagnosis in the Industrial Internet of Things

Youcef Djenouri et al.

Summary: This article introduces a new deep learning framework that integrates convolution neural network and regression models for fault diagnosis in electrical power systems. The framework includes three main steps: data preparation, object detection, and hyperparameter optimization. Inspired by deep learning and evolutionary computation techniques, different strategies have been proposed in each step of the process. Experimental evaluation using well-known datasets and a large power system shows that the proposed approach outperforms existing solutions in terms of runtime and accuracy.

n-Player Stochastic Duel Game Model with Applied Deep Learning and Its Modern Implications

Manik Gupta et al.

Summary: This paper provides a conceptual foundation for stochastic duels and further examines game models based on this theory. It briefly explores other combat assessment techniques, discusses the application of the theory through video games, and considers the use of data generated by popular shooter-type video games. The paper introduces a new evaluation model, suggests improvements, and introduces a trust mechanism to enhance the model's fit for realistic modern problems. A deep-learning model trained on video game data is developed to support the results of the proposed model. The paper compares the proposed model to previously published models and explains the new model in detail, discussing its practical applications in the real world. It showcases the approach of using game theory to solve modern problems, making it a foundational resource for researchers looking to innovate with game theory.
