Segmentation of local food consumers based on altruistic motives and perceived purchasing barriers: a Croatian study

Zeljka Mesic et al.

Summary: This study segmented Croatian local food consumers into two groups based on their altruistic motives and perceived barriers, identifying embedded local food consumers and disinclined local food consumers. This research fills a gap in the literature on local food consumption by examining altruistic motives and barriers among consumers.
