Post-annealing effects on Si-doped Ga2O3 photodetectors grown by pulsed laser deposition

Summary: Si-doped Ga2O3 photodetectors were studied with different annealing temperatures, showing that devices annealed at 500 degrees C had the highest photoresponsivity and external quantum efficiency, while devices annealed at 800 degrees C had the fastest switching speeds. These results are attributed to changes in defect densities from chemical bond formation between Si and O atoms.

The synergetic effects of plasmonic Au nanoparticles and ZnO/CuI pn heterostructure play crucial roles in enhancing the photodetection capability, showing great potential for practical applications in self-powered UV PDs.

Preparation of black phosphorus quantum dots and the surface decoration effect on the monolayer MoS2 photodetectors

Summary: In this study, black phosphorus quantum dots (BP QDs) were prepared and spin-coated onto monolayer MoS2 to fabricate hybrid BP QD/MoS2 photodetectors. The conductivity of MoS2 was significantly improved by the decoration of BP QDs, leading to a drastic increase in dark current. Additionally, the hybrid structure of BP QD/MoS2 exhibited a high photodetection responsivity under specific conditions, suggesting potential applications in phototransistors and photodetectors.

Surface modification of β-Ga2O3 layer using pt nanoparticles for improved deep UV photodetector performance

Summary: In this study, the potential of Pt nanoparticles in modifying the surface of beta-Ga2O3 layer was investigated to enhance the performance of beta-Ga2O3-based devices with a novel asymmetric metal-semiconductor-metal (MSM) structure. The results showed that Pt nanoparticles could significantly improve carrier generation and overcome the high dark current in traditional MSM detectors. The improved device exhibited high responsivity, detectivity, and photocurrent-to-dark current ratio, demonstrating a considerable enhancement compared to the pristine device.
