Enhancement of Electrical and Dielectric Properties of Graphene Oxide-nanoparticle Based Devices

A. Ashery et al.

Summary: The study introduces a novel technology for manufacturing conductive graphene oxide with simple, low-cost, and efficient methods, providing a large amount of material for Schottky barrier diodes or Metal Oxide Semiconductors. Through the firing process of polyvinyl alcohol on SiO2/pSi, the conductivity of graphene oxide is significantly enhanced, allowing it to be used as a conductor. Techniques such as SEM, Raman spectroscopy, XRD, and impedance spectroscopy were used to characterize the prepared samples, providing insights into the temperature, voltage, and frequency dependencies of the diodes.

Dielectric and electrical performance of poly (o-toluidine) based MOS devices

Abdelwahab Hassan et al.

Summary: The electrical and dielectric characteristics of Poly(o-toluidine)/SiO2/p-Si metal oxide semiconductor (MOS) device were investigated in this study. Electrical parameters including barrier height, states density, ideality factor, and series resistance were found to change with temperature, while dielectric properties such as dielectric constant and dielectric loss varied with frequency. The activation energy of the MOS device was calculated as a function of frequency. Overall, the properties of the developed MOS device were dependent on temperature and frequency.
