Heterogeneous junctions of magnetic Ni core@binary dielectric shells

Jijun Wang et al.

Summary: In this study, heterogeneous junctions composed of magnetic Ni core and binary dielectric shells were successfully synthesized, forming Ni@C@PEDOT spheres with multilayer heterogeneous interfaces. The material exhibited excellent performance as a microwave absorber, attributed to factors such as impedance matching, conduction loss, and synergistic interfacial polarization induced by the magnetic core and binary dielectric shells. Moreover, this study provides a simple and significant strategy for the preparation of ideal microwave absorbers through rational design of multilayer heterogeneous interfaces.
