Meat, fruit, and vegetable consumption in sub-Saharan Africa: a systematic review and meta-regression analysis

Summary: The systematic review on meat, fruit, and vegetable consumption in sub-Saharan Africa found that richer countries in the region tend to consume more meat and vegetables, with vegetable consumption showing a significant increase. However, overall fruit and vegetable intake remains below the World Health Organization's recommendation in SSA populations.
