Effect of macro polypropylene, polyamide and steel fibers on the residual properties of SCC at ambient and elevated temperatures

Summary: This paper investigates the effect of different fibers on the properties of reinforced self-compacting concrete (FRSCC) under high temperature conditions. The findings indicate that the macro size fibers of polyamide and polypropylene have similar effects on preserving toughness, with polyamide performing better in the post-peak stage; meanwhile, steel fibers show noticeable increments in flexural strength and toughness capacities.
