Probabilistic tunnel collapse risk evaluation model using analytical hierarchy process (AHP) and Delphi survey technique

Jeongheum Kim et al.

Summary: This study proposes a risk evaluation model for tunnel collapse based on a quantified grading system and significant influence factors. Actual tunnel collapse cases were collected and a database was established to select the important influence factors as evaluation indices. The proposed model and TR index were validated and showed good agreement with field cases.

Fuzzy comprehensive evaluation with AHP and entropy methods and health risk assessment of groundwater in Yinchuan Basin, northwest China

Chenghao Zhong et al.

Summary: This paper improves the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation for water quality by using AHP and Entropy, and develops a health risk assessment model based on triangular fuzzy theory. The study reveals that about 67% of phreatic water can be used for drinking purposes, with the main hydrochemical facies being NaCl type and Ca-Mg-Na type. Fluorine demonstrates moderate correlation with SO42- and low correlation with Na+ in health risk assessment. Children face higher health risks compared to adults, especially in regions with Class-5 water supplements having significantly elevated non-carcinogenic risks.

An asymmetric trapezoidal cloud-based linguistic group decision-making method under unbalanced linguistic distribution assessments

Xiao-kang Wang et al.

Summary: The article discusses a series of models and methods related to linguistic group decision-making issues, including ULDAs, ATCs, and LSFs. A numerical concept is proposed to describe linguistic information and extended linguistic scale functions are introduced. Two decision support models based on ATCPA and TODIM-PROMETHEE II are presented to solve multicriteria group decision-making problems.
