Consumption of Milk and alternatives decreased among Canadians from 2004 to 2015: evidence from the Canadian community health surveys

Hassan Vatanparast et al.

Summary: The study found that the consumption of Milk & Alternatives decreased among Canadians from 2004 to 2015. Despite their low energy contribution, Milk & Alternatives were still important sources of calcium, vitamin D, and vitamin B12 for the Canadian population in 2015. However, Milk & Alternatives also contributed significantly to saturated fat intake in both years.
