Surface functionalization of graphene oxide with tannic acid: Covalent vs non-covalent approaches

Transferrin-functionalized liposomes for docetaxel delivery to prostate cancer cells

Cell-based experiments show that the binding, uptake, and toxicity of nanoparticles in different cell lines are directly linked to their physiological stability due to corona formation.

Blending with other biodegradable polymers to form PHBHHx can improve these issues, however, PHBHHx shows reduced stiffness and poorer barrier properties. To enhance the properties, researchers prepared biodegradable PHBHHx/GO nanocomposites via a solvent casting method, which showed increased mechanical properties and antibacterial activity, offering new perspectives for food packaging.

This ZBP-based phase transfer method shows promise for providing imaging nanoprobes with high biosafety for clinical applications.
