Generalizing the constant-roll condition in scalar inflation

V. K. Oikonomou

Summary: In this work, the constant-roll condition for minimally coupled canonical scalar field inflation is generalized. The inflationary and observational indices are calculated in the extended constant-roll framework. It is shown that the models under this framework are compatible with the latest Planck constraints on inflation. Additionally, the compatibility of the extended constant-roll condition with the cosmological tracker condition is examined, leading to the development of a new inflationary phenomenological framework.

Resealed Einstein-Hilbert gravity: Inflation and the Swampland criteria

V. K. Oikonomou et al.

Summary: In this work, a class of f(R,phi) gravity models that result in an effective inflationary Lagrangian with a resealed Einstein-Hilbert term alpha R during the inflationary era is studied. The motivation is to make incompatible canonical scalar field theories compatible with the Swampland criteria, specifically the distance conjecture and the de Sitter conjecture. It is found that some models can simultaneously satisfy the Planck constraints and the two Swampland criteria when the parameter alpha is small.

Rejuvenating the hope of a swampland consistent inflated multiverse with tachyonic inflation in the high-energy RS-II braneworld

Oem Trivedi

Summary: The swampland conjectures have interesting implications in cosmology, particularly in the context of inflationary models. This study explores tachyonic inflation in the high-energy RS-II Braneworld scenario and its compatibility with the swampland conjectures. The research shows that the concerned regime evades major swampland issues and resolves conflicts between eternal inflation and the swampland, suggesting the possibility of a swampland consistent picture of a Multiverse.

On the Trans-Planckian Censorship Conjecture and the generalized non-minimal coupling

Omer Guleryuz

Summary: This study investigates the impact of the Trans-Planckian Censorship Conjecture (TCC) on inflationary cosmology and analyzes TCC bounds in both Jordan and Einstein frames with a non-minimal coupling term. The findings suggest that TCC upper bounds can be eliminated by considering the initial field value of the effective Planck mass in the inflationary Lagrangian.
