Effects of prenatal chlorocholine chloride exposure on pubertal development and reproduction of male offspring in rats

Qianqian Xiao et al.

Summary: The study found that prenatal CCC exposure delays preputial separation age and decreases sperm motility in male offspring of rats, with a reduction in the essential protein involved in spermatogenesis. Crucial hormones in the HPT axis also decreased at PND 30, indicating that CCC exposure during pregnancy may disrupt the pubertal development and reproductive functions of male offspring through the HPT axis.

Testosterone synthesis in testicular Leydig cells after long-term exposure to a static electric field (SEF)

Summary: The exposure to non-time-varying electric field caused by direct current transmission lines did not significantly affect testosterone synthesis in male mice, but prolonged exposure resulted in testicular oxidative stress, leading to mitochondrial structural damage and inhibition of testosterone synthesis.
