The influence of integrated Micro-ZnO and Nano-CuO particles/paraffin wax as a thermal booster on the performance of heat pipe evacuated solar tube collector

Summary: The research investigates the enhancement of a heat pipe evacuated tube collector with nano or micro-enhanced phase change materials, which improves the efficiency of solar water heaters and reduces temperature fluctuations in hot water. The integration of enhanced-paraffin wax with NP-CuO and MP-ZnO showed significant efficiency improvements in both the evacuated tubes and separate storage tanks.

Summary: This study presents a new method of integrating phase change materials in solar water heaters to improve performance by delaying heat release. The results demonstrate that integrating PCM in both the evacuated tube and separated tanks significantly improves efficiency and extends the supply of hot water.
