Laplacian tactic for the prediction of the temperature components of solar cooker with logical prediction by fuzzy rules

An attempt has been made to design and study the performance of a solar cooker with a copper-coated absorber plate coated with mat black paint and NiO2 nanoparticles. Analytical solutions and the Laplacian approach are used to analyze the temperature components of the cooker and fuzzy rules influencing its thermal performance. The results show that the proposed cooker meets the Bureau of Indian Standard values and the method used is effective for simulation with minimal error.
An attempt has been made to design, fabricate and study the performance of the solar cooker incorporated with the absorber plate made of copper coated with mat black paint with NiO2 nanoparticles of 1 g. Analytical solutions for the temperature components of the solar cooker based on the energy balance equations i.e., temperature of glass cover, absorber plate, lid of the cooking vessel, base of the cooking vessel and cooking fluid have been found. Laplacian approach has been attempted for the solution of the temperature components and results are compared with the experimental observations by finding the RMSE and R-2 values. From the solution, fuzzification is carried out for deriving the fuzzy rules influencing the thermal performance of the cooker. It is found that, the values of RMSE and R-2 for temperature of glass cover (0.115 and 0.993), absorber plate (0.118 and 0.997), lid of the cooking vessel (0.110 and 0.996), base of the cooking vessel (0.119 and 0.996) and cooking fluid (0.114 and 0.998) respectively. The figure of Merit (F-1) and figure of Merit (F-2) of the proposed cooker is intact with the Bureau of Indian Standard values and are 0.425 and 1.55. The Laplacian method and fuzzification for predicting fuzzy rules are recommended for the optimization of design parameters and found to be effective for the simulation of the cooker in various locations with least error.
