A frequency domain method for scattering problems with moving boundaries

Summary: A multi-harmonic numerical method for wave scattering problems with moving boundaries is proposed, assuming smooth motion of the scatterer around an equilibrium position. The method's validity is justified in one-dimensional case with small-amplitude sinusoidal motions before extending to large-amplitude, arbitrary motions in one- and two-dimensional settings. Numerical results show the efficiency of the new method compared to standard space-time resolution schemes.
