Fluorescent sensing system based on molecularly imprinted phase-change microcapsules and carbon quantum dots for high-efficient detection of tetracycline

Jinghua Yu et al.

Summary: This study developed an innovative fluorescent sensing system, MIP@CQD-PCM, for enhanced detection and identification of tetracycline in high-temperature environments. The system demonstrated satisfactory thermal storage capacity and phase-change stability, making it suitable for thermal management applications. It also showed high selectivity and good reusability for tetracycline detection, providing a promising strategy for designing fluorescent sensing systems with high recognition efficiency and accuracy in detecting hazardous substances.

Selective adsorption and fluorescence sensing of tetracycline by Zn-mediated chitosan non-woven fabric

Chensi Shen et al.

Summary: Studies have focused on newly developed Zn(II)-mediated chitosan nonwoven fabric (Zn-CSNW) adsorbent for the efficient and selective removal of tetracyclines (TCs). The adsorption of TC to Zn-CSNW reaches equilibrium in about 30 minutes with a maximum adsorption capacity of 195.9 mg/g. It shows high anti-interference performance for TC adsorption at low concentrations and good regeneration and effective reuse.

Advances in Gold Nanoparticles-Based Colorimetric Aptasensors for the Detection of Antibiotics: An Overview of the Past Decade

Qurat Ul Ain Zahra et al.

Summary: Misuse of antibiotics has become a global issue due to its harmful effects on human health. To address the limitations of conventional methods, it is essential to develop fast, simple, sensitive, and reproducible methods for antibiotic detection. Among the recent methods developed, aptasensors stand out for their specificity, sensitivity, and selectivity, particularly due to their combination of aptamer with colorimetric applications of gold nanoparticles.

pH-Regulated H4TCPE@Eu/AMP ICP Sensor Array and Its Fingerprinting on Test Papers: Toward Point-of-Use Systematic Analysis of Environmental Antibiotics

Chunyu Huang et al.

Summary: In this study, a lab-on-an-AIE@Ln/ICP sensor array was developed using H4TCPE as a guest and Eu/AMP ICP as a host for simultaneous identification and sensing of environmental antibiotics. The sensor array showed diverse fluorescence responses for different antibiotics and demonstrated great potential for systematic analysis of environmental antibiotics. The fingerprinting pattern of the sensor array on test paper holds promise for point-of-use systematic analysis of environmental antibiotics in complex real samples.
