Summary: Gasotransmitters are gaseous molecules synthesized within the body that play roles in various physiological and pathological processes at the cellular level. Long-term exposure to restraint stress has been shown to negatively impact male reproductive functions in rats, with changes in hormone levels and alterations in the expression of gasotransmitter producing enzymes in the hypothalamus and testes.
