Stretchable Neuromorphic Transistor That Combines Multisensing and Information Processing for Epidermal Gesture Recognition

Lu Liu et al.

Summary: This article presents a nanowire-channel intrinsically stretchable neuromorphic transistor (NISNT) that can perceive tactile and visual information and emulate neuromorphic processing. The NISNT shows excellent stretching endurance, with stable electrical properties after 1000 stretch cycles. It is used as a multisensitive afferent nerve attached to fingers for conformal strain sensing and gesture recognition. The shape changes represented by excitatory postsynaptic current in each device are analyzed using softmax activation processing of the neural network to recognize gestures.

Biologically Plausible Artificial Synaptic Array: Replicating Ebbinghaus' Memory Curve with Selective Attention

Dong Gue Roe et al.

Summary: Inspired by the human brain's memorization process, an artificial synaptic array was created to replicate Ebbinghaus' forgetting curve, demonstrating a biologically plausible memorization process. By selectively applying repetitive learning, the array mimics the selective attention for information prioritization in the human brain. This advancement in bioinspired electronics shows great potential for future development.

Bioinspired Dynamic Camouflage from Colloidal Nanocrystals Embedded Electrochromics

Ke Chen et al.

Summary: The article introduces an artificial skin-like optoelectronic device that can actively change appearances and passively morph into the environment by manipulating light-matter interactions. By controlling the color switching of electrochromic polymers, the device can finely balance light absorbance, transmittance, and reflectance, achieving a wide color gamut and angle-dependent visual effects.
