Dynamics of Postural Control in Elite Sport Rifle Shooters

Peter C. Raffalt et al.

Summary: The study found that shooters had lower sample entropy and longer entropic half-life during single-legged stance, and lower correlation dimension in the anterior-posterior direction and body sway in both directions. This indicates that extensive training in quiet stance, especially during challenging single-legged stance, is associated with altered postural control in shooters.
