On the Intersecting Temperature in Presence of Several Normal State Conduction Mechanisms in High-TcSuperconductors

I Mukherjee et al.

Summary: The relationship between the extraction of coherence length and the normal state conduction mechanism in high-temperature superconductors has been studied by analyzing the intersection temperature of normal state conduction and the three-dimensional Aslamazov-Larkin (3DAL) model. The experiments using bulk HTS with different normal states suggest that the shifting of the intersecting point occurs when there are multiple coherence lengths present.

Exponential reduction in critical current density in Eu1-xCexBa2Cu3O7-8superconductors near critical temperature

D. Rakshit et al.

Summary: The study focused on how electron doping affects the current-voltage characteristic below the critical temperature in Eu1-xCexBa2Cu3O7-8 (ECBCO) superconducting systems. The critical current density as a function of temperature was found to exhibit an exponential dependence, and the possibility of a crossover from Ambegaokar-Baratoff (AB) to Ginzburg-Landau (GL) was explored. The exponential variation in all electron-doped superconductors with large angular separation between grain boundaries was attributed to the presence of a vortex fluid state in a narrow range of temperature.
