Summary: This paper introduces the first multimodal neonatal pain dataset, which includes visual, vocal, and physiological responses from 58 neonates during their hospitalization in the neonatal intensive care unit. The dataset can be used to develop artificial intelligence systems for monitoring, assessing, and predicting neonatal pain based on behavioral and physiological responses. It also contributes to advancing the understanding of neonatal pain and developing effective pain prevention and treatment strategies.
